Agreement, Eligibility, and Authority

By creating an account, accepting updated Terms, or using DetailGrid, you agree to these Terms for yourself and the business you represent. You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to bind the business account.

Accounts and Security

You are responsible for accurate registration information, protecting credentials, maintaining business and payment information, and avoiding account sharing contrary to the selected plan. Do not attempt to access another business account or data.

Subscription Plans, Trial, Renewal, and Taxes

The available plan is Solo at $49 per month or $490 per year. The trial is seven days for eligible accounts, with a card required. The first full monthly or annual charge is due after the trial unless canceled; billing then renews at the selected frequency. Annual billing is one yearly charge, not monthly installments. Pro and Elite remain unavailable to purchase.

Subscription fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Stripe or DetailGrid may calculate and collect taxes where legally required. DetailGrid intends to provide at least 30 days advance notice of price changes, with approximately 60 days as the intended standard where practical.

Founder Offer

Founding Customer Discount: Founding customers receive 50% off eligible DetailGrid subscription pricing for as long as the same subscription remains continuously active. A scheduled cancellation may be reversed before the current paid subscription period ends without losing the discount. Once the subscription fully ends, the founding-customer discount is permanently forfeited and will not apply to a later subscription.

The offer is tied to the approved DetailGrid business account. An unclaimed reservation expires after 48 hours. A founder spot is permanently counted only after successful server-side claim processing and is never recycled. The discount is a percentage discount, not a fixed-dollar lifetime price.

Cancellation, Failed Payments, and Refunds

Cancellation prevents the next renewal and access continues through the current paid billing period. Cancellation alone does not immediately delete account or business data. Protected application access may be removed when the subscription is failed, past due, unpaid, or otherwise ineligible according to the subscription-gating implementation.

All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law or specifically approved by DetailGrid in writing.

DetailGrid Functionality

DetailGrid supports business records, service catalogs, estimates, invoices, calendar workflows, reporting, payments where configured, service history, and manually initiated service follow-up reminders. You are responsible for verifying estimates, invoices, taxes, scheduling, payments, reporting, and service descriptions before relying on them.

Customer, Vehicle, and User Content

You retain ownership of your business data and User Content. Suspension or termination does not transfer ownership to DetailGrid. You are responsible for having lawful authority to collect, store, and contact customers, provide required notices, honor opt-outs, and use lawful pricing and service descriptions.

Do not enter payment-card numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive information in free-form notes.

Stripe Subscriptions and Stripe Connect Payments

Stripe processes DetailGrid SaaS subscription billing. DetailGrid does not store full card numbers or CVV codes. For connected-business customer payments, the detailing business connects its own Stripe account and its customers pay the detailing business. The detailing business is responsible for service prices, service performance, customer disputes, refunds, taxes, chargebacks, Stripe processing fees, and Stripe terms.

DetailGrid records payment identifiers, statuses, amounts, application-fee information, and workflow history. DetailGrid does not take custody of or hold connected-account customer funds and does not guarantee payout timing, dispute outcomes, chargeback prevention, Stripe account approval, or uninterrupted payment availability.

DetailGrid charges a $1 application fee for every successful online customer payment processed through Stripe Connect while the detailing business is on the Solo plan, including each successful partial payment, when that fee is implemented in the payment flow. Stripe processing fees are separate.

Manual Payments and Emails

Manual cash, check, or other payments are entered by the business and are not processed by DetailGrid. Their accuracy depends on the user entries.

Transactional emails must not contain unrelated promotional material. Service-reminder emails are manually initiated in Solo, must identify the detailing business, include reminder context and unsubscribe, and opt-outs must be honored without blocking transactional document, payment, account, or security emails.

Acceptable Use

Do not use DetailGrid for spam, unlawful content, deceptive communications, malware, credential theft, interference with the service, security testing without authorization, or attempts to bypass tenant isolation, subscription gating, payment controls, or email opt-outs.

Intellectual Property, Feedback, and Aggregated Information

DetailGrid and its software, branding, design, and documentation are owned by Lucas Detailing LLC or its licensors. Feedback may be used without obligation. DetailGrid may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand and improve the service, provided it does not identify a business, customer, or user.

Third-Party Services and Availability

DetailGrid depends on third-party providers including Supabase, Stripe, Resend, Cloudflare, Calendly, Google, and GitHub. Those providers may have their own terms. DetailGrid may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and availability is not guaranteed uninterrupted.

Data Export, Deletion, and Service Discontinuation

Export and deletion requests are manually reviewed. Deletion is not immediate from one click, identity or ownership verification may be required, and some records may be retained for legal, security, payment, dispute, tax, opt-out, or audit reasons. Cancellation is not deletion.

If DetailGrid plans an orderly shutdown, it intends to provide reasonable advance notice and a reasonable opportunity to request or export available business data when practical. Immediate interruption or shutdown may result from law, court or government order, security emergency, fraud, insolvency, infrastructure failure, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Disclaimers and Liability Cap

DetailGrid is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. DetailGrid disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DetailGrid and Lucas Detailing LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DetailGrid and Lucas Detailing LLC liability is limited to the amount paid by the business to DetailGrid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification and Disputes

You agree to indemnify DetailGrid and Lucas Detailing LLC for claims arising from your business services, customer relationships, data, content, taxes, payment disputes, refunds, chargebacks, misuse of the service, or violation of these Terms.

Before filing a lawsuit, the parties will try to resolve disputes informally for 30 days after written notice. These Terms are governed by Idaho law, and preferred venue is Boundary County, Idaho. These Terms do not include arbitration or a class-action waiver.
